Krishna Doniparthi, MD

Saturday

Krishna Doniparthi, MD, is board-certified in Regenerative and Functional Medicine, Family Medicine, and Obesity Medicine, and has practiced medicine for more than two decades. In 2011, he founded Functional Medicine Georgia in Alpharetta, an outpatient practice devoted to uncovering and treating the root causes of complex, chronic illness in both children and adults. His clinical work centers on cell membrane medicine: the fatty acids, phospholipids, and plasmalogens that determine how well cells function, repair, and detoxify, an area most conventional and functional practitioners overlook.

Rather than managing symptoms, Dr. Doniparthi works to identify the cellular dysfunction beneath a patient’s condition. Using targeted testing, he assesses each patient’s lipid and plasmalogen status and individualizes therapy to their results. His patients include those with neurodegenerative disease, long COVID, mold and fungal illness, autism, and mitochondrial dysfunction, many of whom arrive after conventional care has run its course.

His clinical work is part of a larger system he has built. Through Precision Nutrients, he develops the physician-formulated fatty acid and phospholipid substrates his protocols depend on. Through the Doniparthi Neurogen Academy, the nonprofit he founded and directs, he trains clinicians nationwide to apply the same lipid and cellular medicine in their own practices to address the ever-increasing burden of cellular toxicity. Together, the clinic, the formulations, and the academy form a single system designed to improve outcomes on both sides of care, for patients and the practitioners who serve them.

A Fellow and faculty member of the Medical Academy of Pediatrics and Special Needs (MAPS), Dr. Doniparthi also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for NAD+ Research and is a past Trustee of the Obesity Medicine Association. He lectures nationally and internationally on cellular medicine, driven by a vision of a connected community of practitioners restoring health at the cellular level.
